About M28 Summer

Summer at M28 is more than just camp—it's an opportunity for students to encounter Jesus, build authentic community, and be equipped to live as lifelong disciples.

For five unforgettable sessions, students from across the country will gather for dynamic worship, biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, exciting recreation, and life-changing moments in God's presence. Every part of the week is designed with one purpose in mind: helping students know Jesus more deeply and confidently follow Him when they return home.

Throughout the week, students will experience powerful worship services, engaging breakout sessions, meaningful small groups, recreation, and personal time in God's Word. They'll build friendships that encourage their faith while being challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ. Whether it's a student's first time at camp or they've been coming for years, our prayer is that every person leaves transformed by the Gospel and equipped to make disciples in their schools, churches, and communities.

M28 Summer is designed for students entering 7th grade through graduating seniors, along with their youth pastors and adult leaders. We believe camp isn't the finish line; it's the launching point for a lifetime of following Jesus.

DISCLAIMER: Your final invoice will include a 2.9% credit card fee as well as a one time $175 Group Registration (Admin) Fee. You are responsible for paying in full the number of spots you register by May 3, 2027.
There are no refunds as there is a very limited number of spots available.

M28 Summer is more than another event on your calendar… it's a strategic opportunity to invest in the spiritual health of your students and strengthen your youth ministry. We've intentionally created an environment where you can focus on discipling your students while we provide the framework for an unforgettable week of ministry. From powerful worship experiences and Christ-centered biblical teaching to practical breakout sessions and meaningful small group discussions, every element of camp is designed to help students take their next step with Jesus.

Beyond the worship sessions, your group will build lasting memories through exciting activities like our volleyball tournament, Silent Disco, and optional mountain excursions including white water rafting, hiking, ropes courses, Slide Rock, waterfalls, and more. These shared experiences create natural opportunities for deeper conversations, stronger relationships, and continued discipleship long after camp is over.

At M28, we believe camp should be both transformational and fun. Your students will return home encouraged in their faith, connected to one another, and equipped to live for Christ in their schools and communities. As a youth leader, you'll leave with stronger relationships, meaningful ministry moments, and the confidence that your week was centered on making disciples, not simply keeping students entertained.

Cost includes 3 nights lodging, all meals, 6 worship sessions, and all programming (printed curriculum, breakout sessions, late night activity, volleyball tournament, on campus pool pass, and more!)
- A $150 non-refundable deposit per person is due at the time of registration
- Final Balance will be due June 1, 2027
- A one-time $175 Group Admin Fee will be added to each church’s final invoice.
M28 Summer takes place at the beautiful Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. (91 N Lakeshore Drive, Lake Junaluska, NC 28745)
M28 Summer is designed for students entering 7th grade through graduating seniors. Students attend with their church youth group and adult / young-adult leaders.
Yes. Students attend M28 Summer as part of a church group led by their youth pastor and adult chaperones. If your church isn't attending, we'd love to help connect you with a participating church.
Housing - Groups stay together in Hotel Style lodging on the Lake Junaluska campus. Housing assignments are made prior to arrival. Linens are included.
Each day includes morning and evening worship, engaging biblical teaching, discipleship groups, breakout sessions, recreation, free time, and opportunities for prayer and personal time with God.

Also included is our annual volleyball tournament, silent disco late night activity and more!
Yes! Groups have scheduled free time each day to enjoy the campus, spend time with friends, go on a mountain excursion, participate in recreation, and relax.
M28 Ministries is an interdenominational disciple-making ministry centered on the authority of Scripture and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We gladly partner with churches from many evangelical backgrounds that affirm our Statement of Faith. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions!
Student safety is one of our highest priorities. Churches are responsible for supervising their students at all times, while M28 staff provide a safe, organized environment throughout the event. Lake Junaluska is a private conference and retreat center with security present throughout the property 24/7.
